In 2023, at just 20 years old, my life took an unexpected turn. I was overwhelmed by severe anxiety, relentless panic attacks, and depression—feelings I’d never faced before. I’d always had a happy, calm upbringing, so this sudden darkness left me feeling terrified and alone. Despite multiple hospital and doctor visits confirming my physical health was fine, I couldn’t shake the emptiness inside.
Finally, I made a promise to myself: if things didn’t get better, I’d turn to church. Though I had always believed in God, I had never actively practiced my faith. That first Sunday, as I walked into church, a deep sense of peace filled me. I felt embraced by God’s love, like He was welcoming me home. I hadn’t felt anything like that in months.
On my second visit, I prayed from my heart, asking God to take away my anxiety and heal me. Since that day, I’ve been free of panic attacks and anxiety. I know it’s because of God’s grace and healing power. That experience inspired me to start Gospa. I realized I needed to share my journey of finding peace through faith, hoping it might help others find hope and healing too. If my story reaches even one person who’s struggling, then my purpose feels fulfilled.
